Mighty Kicks is excited to partner with MLS GO and bring the program to the Fort Collins and Timnath areas in 2025.
MLS GO is Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program, dedicated to providing all participants with an inclusive and enhanced experience. The MLS GO recreational league is offered to Kindergartners through 5th Graders. MLS GO aims to enable more children to engage in the sport of soccer.

How It Works
What’s included?
Each participant will receive a full MLS GO uniform kit that utilizes MLS team logos and colors. The uniform kit includes a MLS GO reversible jersey, MLS GO shorts, and socks.
Each team/group will have a hired, trained, and professional coach. Unless registered as a team with a parent coach for the 2nd - 5th Grade divisions.
Practice and game fields will all be reserved for use only for our MLS GO teams/groups.
All soccer equipment included (balls, goals, cones, etc). Cleats and shin guards will need to be supplied by parents.
Referees and game management will be provided by hired and trained MLS GO coaches (this will not fall on a parent volunteer).
Who can register?
Our Fall 2025 season age groups/divisions will follow your child’s grade level for the 25/26 school year. We will be offering the following divisions this fall season.
Kindergarten: Coed teams | 3v3 games
1st Grade: Coed teams | 3v3 games
2nd/3rd Grade: Girls and Boys divisions | 4v4 games
4th/5th Grade: Girls and Boys divisions | 7v7 games
League Structure and Organization
6 week season
1 weekly practice/game session per week. Parents will register their child for a specific day, time, and location of their preference. This day, time, and location will be where their child’s team will have their once a week 75 minute practice/game session each week.
Each weekly session will be 75 minutes in length. This time will be split into 35 minutes of practice/curriculum, followed by a 40 minute game against a different opponent each week.
2 Game Day Festivals for Kindergarten and 1st Grade Divisions and 3 Game Day Festivals for 2nd/3rd Grade and 4th/5th Grade Divisions events per season. Game Day Festivals will be held at Twin Silo on Sunday 9/21, 10/5, 10/19 for 2nd/3rd & 4th/5th Grade divisions, and on Sunday 10/5 & 10/19 for Kindergarten and 1st Grade divisions. Game times will be between 9:00 AM and 12:30

Team Registration - NEW For Fall 2025
If you are a parent and you are interested in coaching your child’s team with a group of friends, you can now register as a team for the Fall 2025 Season.
This is only available for our 2nd/3rd Grade and 4th/5th Grade divisions
The maximum number of participants for 2nd/3rd Grade teams is 8, and the minimum is 6 per team.
The maximum number of participants for 4th/5th Grade teams is 12, and the minimum is 9 per team.
MLS GO staff will train parent coaches on the program’s philosophies and curriculum to ensure the quality of the participants' experiences aligns with the program’s goals and expectations.
Parent coaches will receive a 50% discount on their children’s registration as well as a stipend for the season to compensate them for their time and coaching efforts.

Team Formation & Teammate Requests
Kindergarten and 1st Grade teams will have a maximum of 6 players. 2nd/3rd Grade teams will have a maximum of 8 players. 4th/5th Grade teams will have a maximum of 12 players
Each participant will have the option to request teammates during the registration process. All teammate requests that are submitted during registration will be honored.
School teams: We will also form teams based on participants' schools. When possible, we will place participants from the same school together on the same teams.
MLS GO Play Fund
The MLS GO PLAY FUND is an annual financial commitment from Major League Soccer (MLS), an initiative designed to expand access to youth recreational soccer through MLS GO leagues. This fund is dedicated to removing economic barriers and supporting our mission to make soccer more accessible for all children.
What is the MLS GO PLAY FUND?
The fund provides annual financial support to help offset seasonal costs for MLS GO League operators and individual players. Our aim is to ensure that as many children as possible can participate in youth soccer programs.
